Alloy offers a number of solutions for clients requiring enhanced security offerings – ranging from financial services organizations, enterprises, healthcare businesses, to federal, state, and local governments.
Cloud Hosted
By default, Alloy offers a Software-as-a-Service cloud hosted product. For more information on this offering, please refer to our Data Centers documentation.
Self Custody Database
For clients wishing to have direct control over their own database, Alloy offers a self-custodied database offering. When using this option, clients are required to deploy and host their own instance of the Alloy database (which can be deployed to multiple cloud providers like AWS, GCP, Azure, or on premise). The self-custodied database can then be connected to the Alloy Hosted Integration Platform via: (a) VPC Peering, (b) Allow List IP Addresses, or (c) a secure IPSec VPN.
A diagram of self-custodied data using this setup can be seen below.
Virtual Private Alloy (“VPA”)
Clients requiring complete data segregation can rest easy knowing Alloy supports their needs. To achieve this, Alloy offers Virtual Private Alloy, a completely isolated version of Alloy hosted in its own cloud based VPC. When configured, VPA is entirely segregated from all other Alloy customers and runs in complete isolation outside of the main Hosted Integration Platform.
VPA is hosted on Amazon Web Services (AWS) and can be deployed to any AWS region globally – even if the core cloud hosted Alloy version does not support a specific version. Clients can choose to host the Alloy database inside VPA or combine the VPA offering with the a self-custodied database above for added control over their data.
Alloy for Government
Federal, State, and Local governments can rely on Alloy’s compliant GovCloud-based offering to ensure they are able to meet stringent government regulations. To achieve this, we offer Alloy for Government. Alloy GovCloud is built atop AWS GovCloud, a FedRAMP certified cloud offering from AWS. With Alloy for Government, all data and hosted services are completely segregated to AWS GovCloud dedicated regions – including the Alloy Database and Hosted Integration Platform.
Wrapping Up
Alloy offers a number of solutions to meet the varying requirements of our clients. For clients needing control over their own data, Alloy supports a self-custodied database option which can be deployed to any cloud provider or on premise. Enterprises requiring even more data privacy can request a dedicated Virtual Private Alloy which runs inside its own segregated VPC.
Lastly, government agencies, including federal agencies required to work with FedRAMP authorized vendors can rest easy by leveraging Alloy for Government which sits atop AWS GovCloud.
These features are available upon request. Contact your Alloy representative to learn more.
